Introduction
Welcome to Renovation Forest! Back in 2014 my family (myself, wife and 2 young children) moved into our beautiful house in the Perth Hills. A large 5 bedroom home built in the late 80s on 2,100 square meters of land. The garden was severely neglected, the interior and exterior of the house was in need of maintenance.
I'm a Software Engineer my trade, and, to the surprise of a lot of people, I enjoy doing non-computer things in my spare time! When it comes to home improvement projects, there are two personal qualities that make me stand out.
1. I like to think outside of the square
2. I like to do things myself.
Possessed with these two qualities I have undertaken various bespoke home improvement and gardening projects myself. This blog is a shrine to these projects, and a diary for the endless future projects I have planned!
